Hi, I'm Sharon. I’m a somatic, trauma-informed coach and speaker, passionate about helping people better understand themselves, their nervous systems and the impact of stress and trauma on how we feel, connect and navigate the world.
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, nervous-system-led approach that recognises the importance of safety, connection and compassion. Through coaching and workshops for parents, schools and workplaces, I help create space for greater understanding, self-awareness and more supportive ways of relating to ourselves and others.
I bring over 30 years of experience in education, including more than 15 years as a special education teacher specialising in dyslexia and specific learning difficulties. With a Master’s degree in Specific Learning Difficulties, I have spent much of my career advocating for greater understanding, inclusion and support for people whose needs are not always recognised or understood.
This experience has shaped my belief that behaviour, learning and emotional wellbeing cannot be understood in isolation from the person behind them. When we begin to understand what might be happening beneath the surface, we can respond with greater curiosity, compassion and connection.
Today, I bring this understanding into my work as a coach, facilitator and speaker, delivering trauma-informed, nervous-system-led workshops that support individuals, families, educators and organisations to build greater awareness, understanding and connection.
My aim is to make these insights accessible, meaningful and relevant to everyday life — helping people move away from judgement and towards understanding, both of themselves and of others, and ultimately creating a more caring, compassionate and kind world to live in.
